Explore hotels near Nandi Hills and Devanahalli, offering convenient accommodations for your travel needs in Bangalore's scenic surroundings.
Devanahalli's history began in the fifteenth century, when a family of Conjeevaram (present-day Kanchipuram) refugees set up camp at the base of Ramaswami Betta, east of the Nandi Hills. It seems that their leader, Rana Baire Gowda, received instructions in a dream to establish a town in this area. He made his home in the little settlement of Ahuti, which subsequently became known as Avati, with his Morasu Wokkalu family. Dodda-ballapura, Chikka-ballapura, and Devanahalli were established by his son Malla Baire Gowda. Another member of the Morasu Wokkalu family is Kempegowda, the man who founded Bangalore. Book now at the hotels near Devanahalli and make the trip most memorable of your life.
